TATE TIMES PAINTING CHALLENGE
The Painting Challenge is now closed, the deadline for entries was the 28th November 2008.
Tate, in partnership with The Times newspaper, offered young people between 11 – 18 years old the opportunity to become part of an exhibition at Tate Modern in January 2009.
The challenge was to use works from the Poetry and Dream wing in UBS Openings: Tate Modern Collection as inspiration. You can see how different works from the collection inspired the paintings in the online gallery below:
